In some cases a corporation’s donations* are different than their public persona. This often leads to an apparent conflict between who they appear to be and to whom they donate. One example is Rupert Murdoch`s News Corp (Fox News), whose public perception is of a Republican entity, and yet whose donations are predominantly to Democrats. While a company may make donations which are not reported to the Federal Election Commission, we can only report on the information which is publicly available.
